Tom was called to the British Columbia Bar in May of 1998 and had practiced in the area of general litigation as well as ICBC defence litigation. Tom joined Chomicki Baril Mah in January of 2000 and became a partner in 2003. Tom's practice includes the jurisdictions of Alberta , British Columbia, Yukon and NWT where he is involved in various areas of insurance defence litigation and coverage issues. Tom's preferred area of practice is in aviation insurance related matters. He has trained and has worked as a commercial pilot and aircraft maintenance engineer prior to practicing law which provides his aviation clients with added value and expertise in resolving claims in those areas.
