Bruce James graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 1990 and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1991. He joined the firm in 1995 and became a partner in 1998. Bruce practices almost exclusively in the area of insurance defence litigation and does work for a number of insurers in Alberta. He has extensive experience in various forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediation, arbitration and judicial dispute resolution.

Bruce has spoken at a number of litigation seminars including presentation of a paper on Vicarious Liability for Intentional Torts at the Banff Refresher Court in Civil Litigation and written articles on various tort issues.
