We have always provided services to corporations and their shareholders. One of our senior partners, John C. Mah Q.C., has developed extensive knowledge in these areas and has been assisted by other firm members as required. We also have expertise in general practice issues as follows:
ADMINISTRATIVE LAW
Administrative law deals with the legal remedies available to individuals affected by the transgression of Government officials in carrying out their governmental duties. This subject invariably involves the question of the lawful authority of an official to do a particular act which, in the absence of such authority, might well be illegal and give rise to an actionable wrong. Many members of the firm have significant experience in providing legal services to clients affected by the decision of Government bodies or officials.

INTERNET LAW
The Internet has quickly become one of the most convenient sources of information for businesses and individuals. It is also becoming a growing subject of litigation. For example, disputes arise over the use and content of a domain name and domain name registration. Actions may involve issues of defamation arising out of web page content as well as claims for substantial business losses. Because the internet is international, disputes frequently involve the laws of several jurisdictions.
