Ray joined Chomicki Baril Mah in May 1971 on graduating from the University of Alberta Law School. He articled with the firm, remained as an associate and in 1974 became a partner.
Ray has experience in all levels of the Courts in Alberta and the Yukon including the Supreme Court of Canada. His legal involvement as well included various alternative dispute resolution procedures including mediations, arbitrations and minitrials. He has written numerous articles and lectured on insurance law.
